Email Automation Triggers

A trigger event can be used only ONCE for an email automation campaign.  Can not use the same trigger event in more that one automated campaign.

Here is our list of automation trigger events that are available when creating an email automation campaign:

Contact Information Updated: This trigger is generated when a customer updates their contact information within Rerun

Credit Card Expired: This event is triggered when a transaction is attempted, using an expired credit card

Credit Card Expired 14 days ago: This event can be used to send an email 14 days after a customer credit card has expired

Credit Card Expired 30 days ago: This event can be used to send email 30 days after a customer credit card has expired

Credit Card to Expire Next Month: This event is triggered when a transaction is attempted, using a credit card due to expire

Credit Card to Expire This Month: This event is triggered when a transaction is attempted, using a credit card due to expire

Customer Added to Stream: This event is generated when a customer is added to a stream; can be used to send confirmation email to a customer when added to a Payment Stream

Customer Created: This event is triggered when a new customer is entered into Rerun or created during your checkout process; can be used to send confirmation email to a customer

Customer’s Password Reset: Can be used to send a reminder to your customer that their password to Rerun has been reset

Customer’s Stream Renewed: Can be used to send a confirmation email to a customer that their service or product has been renewed

Customer’s Stream Resumed: Can be used to send a confirmation email to a customer that their service or product has been resumed

Customer’s Stream Suspended/Paused: Can be used to send a confirmation email to a customer that their service or product has been suspended or paused

Payment Credited Successfully: A customers’ card was successfully credited; can be used to send notification email to a customer

Payment Method Updated: Can be used to send a confirmation email to a customer that their payment method was successfully updated

Payment Stream Completed: This will trigger when the stream cycle is over and all payments have been executed

Payment Successfully Processed: This event is triggered as a result of a normal credit card payment transaction; can be used to send a confirmation email to a customer that their payment went through

Payment to be Processed in 3 Days: Can be used to send a notification email to a customer that their payment will be processed in 3 days

Payment to be Processed in 14 days: Can be used to send a notification email to a customer that their payment will be processed in 14 days

Payment to be Processed in 30 days: Can be used to send a notification email to a customer that their payment will be processed in 30 days

Payment Unsuccessfully Processed: This trigger will fire when a customers’ payment is declined, rejected, or failed

Payment voided: Can be used to notify a customer that a payment has been voided
