Settings Tab
In the Settings tab, you'll see the following sub tabs:
My Account
- Here you can enter and update your personal and company information. Your sub domain is the first part of the web address for your Rerun account: http://[YourCompanyName].rerunapp.com
- You should not add spaces, punctuation or any special characters.
- The email address is the address you entered when your registered. This email address will be used to log into your Rerun account, for all failed email notifications and all other CC'd emails.
- You can also see whether you are subscribed to a trial account or a live account by clicking on the Rerun Plan tab on the top of the window.
- The last thing you can do on the My Account sub-tab is to Reset Password. This is the password you use to sign into your Rerun account. Enter the current password, then enter the new password and confirm.
- Indicate whether or not you want to be notified via email for failed transactions, customer-initiated credit card updates or be notified of a list of expiring credit cards each month (email sent to the email address indicated in My Account tab, see above).
- Set retry actions for failed payments.
- Set the date format you would like to use.
- In the From Alias field, set the name your customers will see when they receive email from your Rerun account.
- In the From Address field, set the email address that will be used if your customers reply to your Rerun emails.
- This tab will show the list of items with prices available for you to choose from when creating a Payment Stream. The Item Type is also displayed, indicating whether the item was created in Rerun or imported from your accounting software.
- Items you create in Rerun will not be synced to your accounting software if you are using the integration.
In this tab, you will enter in your payment processing credentials that you received from Forte Payments after your application has been approved. Please Note: you will receive two separate emails for these fields. The first email will contain your Merchant ID and API Login ID. The second email will contain your Payment Processing Password and Secure Transaction Key for security purposes.
Connecting with Stripe:
When you sign up for Rerun & Stripe, you will follow the steps to connect to your Stripe account to use for your recurring payments instead of following the directions above. Sync
In the Sync tab, you can configure Rerun to sync with your AccountEdge®, QuickBooks® Online, or Xero account, or you can select No Integration for stand-alone use of Rerun. Taxes
In the Taxes tab, you'll find your list of tax codes that can be applied to Payment Streams. If you integrate Rerun with AccountEdge, QuickBooks or Xero, you can import your list of tax codes into Rerun. If you have No Integration set, you can enter sales tax codes for use with Rerun Payment Streams. Slack
Use the "Connect to Slack" button to connect your Rerun account to your Slack account. With this integration, you can automatically have Rerun send event notifications to your Slack channel. To learn more about Slack and how the integration works, visit our webpage here or read more about setting up Slack with Rerun here.
